The emotional wellness piece of our program is to support young adults in taking ownership of the things that are difficult to accept. Each flight brings new challenges and new opportunities for our young adults to improve. Throughout the two-year program, students are learning that true self-sufficiency stems from accessing the emotional supports that they need.
Within the Family & Student Support component of the Young Adult Program, learners are able to establish their personal ethos – their core values and strengths. Our goal is to help our students develop strong, healthy habits in order to build success and motivation for tackling new challenges. Success is found through the organic accountability of the program, scaffolding students through the process of solving life’s problems — not through dependence on a system or a family structure, but on their ability to change into healthier, happier human beings.
